High School Youth Faith Formation

Welcome to LightHouse, St. Brendan’s 9th-12th grade faith formation program. This thriving community is open to all high school students.

Our mission is to help facilitate a wide array of faith-based experiences for our high schoolers that will deepen their relationship with God and impel them to live out their faith in Forsyth County and beyond.

LightHouse has many facets and opportunities for participation:

• Sunday Night Sessions (Off-site at Shiloh Point Elementary)

• Thursday Night Bible Study @ St. Brendan’s Youth Room

• Open and Closed Retreats

• Forsyth County Missions -During Summer, Fall & Spring Break

• Crew Leadership

• Summer Night Life (SNL) Events

Eligibility for Sacramental Preparation

Two consecutive years of Catholic Faith Formation are required in order to be eligible to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.

In order to meet the faith formation requirement for Confirmation, no more than 3 absences are allowed per year. Click HERE for more details on Confirmation .
