What is Vacation Bible School?

Vacation Bible School is a fun, camp-like experience for students who are rising Kindergarteners through rising 5th graders. There is a theme carried out through the entire week which helps our youth to grow in knowledge and practice of their Catholic faith.   

When is Vacation Bible School?  

Vacation Bible School is always the last week of June. It is set to take place Monday, June 24th - Friday, June 28th this year.

Monday-Thursday begins at 9am and ends at 12pm whereas Friday begins at 9am and ends later than the other days at 1:30pm.

How much does VBS cost?

The fee for VBS is $60 per child with a $180 family maximum fee for 3 or more children attending.  Adult Volunteers who commit to leading a small group or station for the ENTIRE week receive a 50% off discount.  

If my teen volunteers for the program, do I receive a 50% off discount for my children in the program?

No, we are not able to offer a discount unless an ADULT is volunteering.

If my child(ren) can only come some of the days, should I still register?

That is completely up to you. We do not offer any discounts based on days attended, so as long as you let us know which days your child(ren) will attend, we can plan accordingly.

If we have family members who will be staying with us during this time who are Rising K-5th grade, can they attend as well?

Is Vacation Bible School the same as Youth Faith Formation?

No, these are separate programs with separate registrations. Attendance at VBS does not satisfy the Youth Faith Formation religious education requirement.     

Do you have Vacation Bible School for Middle School or High School?

No, Vacation Bible School is solely geared towards Rising Kindergarten - Rising 5th grade students. We do invite our high school teens to participate by assisting in leading small groups and stations though.

Will there be a Mass and program at the end of the week?

Yes, we will have a Mass at 11:30am on Friday followed by a music presentation, then ice cream and pizza in the Social Hall. Dismissal on this day will be at 1:30pm instead of 12:00pm (noon). We invite parents, grandparents and other family members to attend.
